Allstate “Payment Schedule” for homeowners insurance policies
Allstate has a rule that says that if a roof is older than 10 years old, and if there is a wind or hail claim, then the roof must be covered with a “Payment Schedule.”
Here is a picture of the Payment Schedule. You can download it if you want.
This means that if there is a wind or hail claim, the most that Allstate will pay is a percentage of the replacement cost of the roof surface that is damaged or destroyed. The “Payment Schedule” document from Allstate shows the percentage that they will cover. The percentage varies depending on the roof surface material type and the age of the roof.
Let us know if this applies to you or if you any questions. Thank you!
